Great boot, but buy a bigger size -
Buying this boot was a perfect example of how useful the reviews on Zappos are. After reading notes that the shoe ran narrow and small, I settled on a 9.5 wide when normally I wear an 8.5 medium. It turned out to be a perfect fit, definitely snug and even a 9 or a 9.5 medium would have been too small. If anything I'm a slightly small 8.5 (though my feet run a little wide) so definitely buy a full size up, and unless your feet are narrow, go for the wide size. That note aside, this is a super comfortable boot in the right size. Nice looking, casual enough to dress up a pair of jeans and dressy enough to wear with slacks. No rubbing or pinching at all, and the arch support is just fine for a dress shoe.

These are beautiful shoes. They do run small and a bit narrower than others. I have wide feet, and I usually wear an 8W or 8.5W. With these, the 9W fit me, although my heel does slip a bit when I walk. Even though they seemed narrow, going up to the 9 helped fit my wide feet. They're keepers! They seem well-made, have a substantial sole (not thin like some), and a nice sized, but very stable heel. I will be able to dress them up or down with jeans or nice pants.

Too small!
These are nice-looking boots but they seem to run at least a size too small and narrow. After trying two sizes I am giving up.
