Pretty boot, but mediocre quality -
I ordered the cognac colored boot. They're comfortable with jeans tucked inside and favorable to those with smaller calves. However, there was a cognac colored waxy flaky film that seems to have been sprayed over the boot in areas that did not undergo the original tanning/dye process very well. This film flakes off and is most apparent after trying on the boot. I thought it was just the particular boot that I had ordered, but upon receiving a second shipment, I found that the wax was on almost all the boots. After the wax flakes off, undyed spots are revealed. I ended up keeping the best pair since they are very cute and comfortable, and I have worn them once (after conditioning the leather with mink oil). They seem to be OK for now, but if you're looking for quality and durability, find another shoe.

 |  | Wow! My first experience with Zappos. I placed my order on Saturday afternoon. On Sunday I received a notice that my shipping had been upgraded (my FREE SHIPPING). I received my order on Monday before 3pm. I had tried on these boots at a local store and they did not have my size. The rep for this brand said they were completely sold out.
