Fitzwell- says it all...
These boots have the made-to-order feel. The leather is very soft so if you are looking for a heavy boot, don't order this one. If however, you are looking for a good fitting, everyday boot, this is for you. I have slim ankles and a small calf. This boot fits very well for me. I love ZAPPOS and I love this boot. I have worn them every day since I received them.

Pretty boot, but mediocre quality -
I ordered the cognac colored boot. They're comfortable with jeans tucked inside and favorable to those with smaller calves. However, there was a cognac colored waxy flaky film that seems to have been sprayed over the boot in areas that did not undergo the original tanning/dye process very well. This film flakes off and is most apparent after trying on the boot. I thought it was just the particular boot that I had ordered, but upon receiving a second shipment, I found that the wax was on almost all the boots. After the wax flakes off, undyed spots are revealed. I ended up keeping the best pair since they are very cute and comfortable, and I have worn them once (after conditioning the leather with mink oil). They seem to be OK for now, but if you're looking for quality and durability, find another shoe.
