A beauty of a shoe -
I needed a new pair of dress shoes in brown and stopped in my tracks when I saw these shoes. There was NO break in period. They are lovely! I'm familiar with the Earth fit as I wear Earth sandals all summer. I really wanted a regular buckle as the last Birks I bought had a Velcro closure and I just was never happy with it. If I need a pair of black shoes I'll look to Earth again.

Love it.
Started wearing Earth Shoes in 7th grade in 1975. At this time in American society, they are not as "hip" as they were back then by the beach in sunny Southern California, but they are still made of quality (wonderful smelling) leather and the great sole that lasts forever and helps my poor teacher's feet through each vigorous day. Will be getting another pair next payday!

To tell the truth, I don't do much trail running (what this shoe's intent is). However, for what I do, boating, often walking my dog where it's wet, and the occasional hike, this really is an awesome shoe. The cord-style laces took some getting used to, but now, I like them better than any other regular laces. They fit a little narrower than average (which makes my slightly wide foot a little uncomfortable). I've tested these to the point where I was loading my boat onto its trailer and the water was up to the laces and my socks were bone dry! Very solid product. I will update in the future if I can regarding how they hold up.

Comfy everyday shoe -
These shoes are awesome. As soon as I got them I fell in love and I wear them everyday. I have pretty wide feet, and these shoes fit perfectly.

Most Comfortable Shoe Ever -
I love this shoe. I bought 2 pairs of them and my feet, back, and legs have never felt this good. They are actually improving my yoga because my hamstrings are already stretched when I begin my sun salutations. Highly recommend this shoe.

Dream fulfilled -
I am a die-hard maryjane wearer. I've spent $hundreds searching for just the right pair to wear day in and out. Also, I've wanted to own a pair of Earth shoes for ages and now that I do, I'm so pleased! They are so comfortable right out of the box. The reverse heel takes a bit of getting used to (mere minutes), but this is a very comfortable shoe. They look great with jeans. I gave less than perfect for look due to the fact that I wanted to wear them without socks with skirts but I think they are too clompy looking (of course I do wear sz 11!) and wide for it to look right. Though I think they will work beautifully with tights and skirts for fall and winter. I love the design on the top of the shoe and I feel good about supporting this company. Definitely worth the money. Wish I'd gotten them long ago.

This is a really cool looking shoe and I loved it the minute I saw it. I ordered the size I usually take, but it was way small--I'd say a whole size small. It also felt like the arch support was not as good as in the other Earths I have. Unfortunately, I had to send it back.

A beautiful shoe - Fiona is a very attractive shoe with good support. Design detail on the toe adds a lovely touch. The Earth Shoe design gives real comfort and support, yet it does not sacrifice looks at all. I am able to wear the size 8 with no pressure on my toes, because the negative heel keeps my foot from sliding forward. The Mary Jane strap keeps the shoe from sliding off of my narrow heel. I bought the black ones first and I wore them all day teaching. I was really surprised at how comfortable they were, and also I like just looking down at my feet once in a while to see how pretty they look! So I also purchased a pair in another color, which I also enjoy. I think I am addicted to Earth Shoes!

Comfortable, but not perfect -
I have loved my Earth Solars since the first day I bought them. When the strap broke, I decided to try out the Fionas -- I liked the different look. The only problem with them was that the back of the shoe is a little different from the Solars. After walking a lot in the Fionas, I ended up with blisters on the back of both heels.

Great shoe.
This shoe is really nice. Great arch support did not need any break-in time... just pure comfort. It also took away my lower back pain.

Zappos has the fastest shipping EVER -
I literally ordered these shoes at 11pm and they were at my door by 5pm the next day! Zappos gave me free overnight airmail. I love Earth shoes, this is my fifth pair. I got them in the mahogany and they are super cute! I love them. I want to get them in the red as well.

Gorgeous shoes -
LOVE these shoes! I have gotten so many compliments on them in the two times I have worn them so far! The toe is less boxy than other earth styles, and extremely attractive. I love the embroidery on the toe-- very, very chic. The one downside is that the heel does rub more than other, more padded mary-jane Earth styles, so I have had to wear large band-aids over my heels to protect them. I am hoping with wear this issue will go away. Even so, the shoes are worth it! I have them in the red color and LOVE them.

Cute shoes for orthotic wearers!
I seem to have good luck with Earth shoes. It seems that my weight goes mostly on my heel which really helps the ball of my feet where I have arthritis. Also, I took the insoles out and put my orthotics inside and now I have all day comfort.

Nice shoes -
These shoes are very comfortable, but a little weird feeling since your toes are higher than your heel. They take getting used to. They also run about 1/2 size smaller than standard.

Really fun shoes -
These are fun shoes, comfortable, suitable for wearing with pants to work. I stand a lot, and have back problems that make shoes with much of a heel hard to wear, but I can wear these all day with comfort. They actually look better in person than they do in this picture.
