Easy way to shop -
I have had many pairs of timberland shoes or boots in the past and knew what size to order. To my surprise the boots were delivered the next day and were exactly what was expected. I was very pleased with the product and the delivery service. After the first experience I ordered a belt and a watch and was more than satisfied with both the products and next day service. Another upside of Zappos is there is no tax or shipping charges unlike catalog orders.

Great hiking boot or for every day wear -
I bought this for my 11yr old son (he wears men's size shoes) for Boy Scouts hiking trips. He has weak ankles (twice broken and several sprains) and these shoes provide very good ankle support. I wanted him to "break them in" before his weekend Scouts hike so I told him to wear them to school for a day or two. Well, it's a month later and he is still wearing them to school EVERY day. They have replaced his sneakers as his "every-day" shoes. Also, they worked out great on his 5 mile mountain hike and his weekend backpack trip for Boy Scouts.

Shipped from Kentucky all the way to a small town about 30 miles out of the twin cities in Minnesota.
