These shoes are absolutely amazing. I also love the purple plaid style, which is the one I bought. Hewitt's shoes are amazing and the best for some fatty tre flips.

Vox Hewitt... Great Shoe -
I bought the all black hewitt, with the white sole, and it looks sick! The shoe is extremely comfortable, it looks great, and it's a mid-top so it feels even better. The shipping was pretty fast, and I'm really enjoying this shoe, haven't skated in it yet, but I'm anxious to. Oh and buy at least half a size smaller, since it's vulcanized!

Good lace and ankle protection, good skate shoes. Buy them 1 size smaller than normal.

Got size 10 1/2 and they felt like big 11s. Also the rubber on the sole cracked after 3 weeks. Yes they have a good look but they are not very comfortable. I don't skate anymore but I have a feeling these things would never last more than a couple of months.

Nice look, rip easy -
Very nice skate shoe for street. I don’t do heights so much, so I don’t know ‘bout that, but otherwise, very sexy skating shoe… BUT ripped at the kickflip part of the shoe real bad. I’m not that intense of a skater and they ripped in 2 months. If you like paying this much for a 2 month shoe, then HIGH FIVE for this shoe!

These shoes are sweeeet. They look good, real comfortable. Weird to skate though took me a bit to work them in. Crazy grippy though once you get worked in. I got a major rippage in the front, but I skated these hard like almost every day, but yo, I definitely recommend these shoes bro!

Buy these shoes!
I bought the purple beer hunters and they are the best shoes I have skated in a long while. They are great for any style of skating, and the best feature is the midtop, cuz I have bad ankles and these helped that a lot. Pretty average wear, really depends how much u skate and if you have new grip :S Seeing as I don't, tops!

Great skating shoe, great value, moderate comfort.
Good looking shoe, great for riding, good ankle support though may be a little stiff which limits long term wear as a casual shoe. Absolutely love it on the board, that's when I wear 'em.

They’re great shoes, very comfortable after you wear them in a bit. The flap over the bottom lace loop works well, it’s nice not having to rock knotted-up ripped laces. All they need now is an air freshener in-sole.

I've had this shoe for a long time, and this shoe kicks. I love everything about this shoe. Its good for skating everything, street, tranny, park, you name it. When they break in after a couple days it feels so good, they are so comfortable. I recommend them.

Sick skating shoe, lasts a long time. Doesn't wear down too quick. May need to be gellin when you wear these. Insoles are a little flat. Shred man.

It’s a good shoe -
It fit perfect, but it’s a pretty comfortable shoe. But it did make my feet hurt after skating for 3 hours. I had sore feet, but no other problems. It’s a great shoe.

Just bought these at the local shop a couple days ago, tried them on, they felt pretty snug. I figured they would give a little after I skated them, but they didn't, and they gave me a blister within the first hour of skating! The toe of the shoe is too low and flat to move your toes, and my feet are pretty narrow.

Great shoe. Absolutely 100% skatable and perfect for about anything.
It’s great to chill in or go about and shred.
It’s the same shoe as the Trooper only it’s a midtop which helps give me extra support when I skate. The other plus is midtop= no ankle bite from your board. I strongly recommend the Hewitt’s. Also the Troopers and the Dehobl.

The toe box is extra small. I got these a half size smaller than normal cuz vulks usually open up a lot, but not the case w/ this shoe. Get yr regular size. Otherwise, they're way cool.

Looks Cool, Feels Bad -
This Vox shoe seems to have it all - an update on Vans styling with more durable materials, a smooth clean look, and a killer Vox skate team to support it. However, the main problem is that they just aren't comfortable. Vulcanized soles aren't as comfortable as cup soles, but these are ridiculous. If you plan on wearing these for skating, then buy a pair - the price is right and you can't go wrong. If you are buying these for style or to chill in, be ready to nurse sore feet. Also, there was some exposed seam or stitching around the big toe that rubbed a blister on my feet and everyone else's feet in town who bought a pair. Vox shoes look so cool that it is a shame that they haven't got the kinks in their shoes worked out yet - let's hope that they do!
