These were way too stiff for me. They're very nice looking and seem very warm in the short time I tried them out. I just can't get past the ankle stiffness. Also, I'd say they seem about 1/2 size too small or else have a small-feeling toe box. I'm returning them.

Awesome!
I bought my first pair of the globe focus 4 years ago. I’m still wearing them. I’m on my feet 12 hrs a day at work and these shoes are the only ones that I don't have to worry about taking a break for my feet's sake. I recommend these to anyone who wants comfort, style, and durability in a good pair of shoes.

My son loved these shoes -
I ordered these about a year ago in the black for my college age son and he loved them. Because there weren't half sizes he had me order a size 11. (Normally wears an 11 1/2) and they were a little tight on him but stretched enough for the half size difference. He wears them as real shoes, not slippers. I am ordering him the brown for Christmas this year.

I really liked these. With the majority of the shoe companies cutting costs, trying to pass off low tech, cheap vulc shoes as "in style", these really threw it off. Globe took it back to the Chet Thomas 4's. I liked the Chets a little better, but these are a close second. Comfy for sure. Nice Shoes. Might look like bigfoot though, if your in to skinny mini jeans. --VN.

I bought these as a daily school shoe for my daughter whose school requires black/brown/white as part of her uniform. When you first get these, they are absolutely adorable - loved them as first. My daughter thought these shoes were fairly comfortable as well. However, after a couple of weeks, these shoes looked BEAT UP. Her brown shoes - Doc Martens - did not. As the year progressed, I’ve burnt down loose threads in these shoes and gotten to where they have to be polished every other time they’re worn. That didn’t happen to her other shoes - just these - so I know it’s not that I have a child who’s exceptionally rough on shoes. They just aren’t the quality I was expecting from Bass and I won’t be buying any more children’s shoes from them.

Brown Ones are real nice -
I've always worn skate shoes and recently started looking at the casual styles. This shoe is great. I have the brown model. It looks great with jeans or shorts. People want to know what shoes you’re wearing!!!! Skateboarding style has always been ahead of mainstream style.

My whole family wears the Globe Castro shoes. 2 girls in college, my 14 year old son, mom has 3 pairs and we are ordering a pair for dad for Christmas (even grandma wants a pair). These are very comfortable especially with the fur on the inside. The sizes run big, especially for girls.

Slippers not tennis shoes -
I am hoping to prove helpful to the people who are unsure whether to purchase these in shoe size or a size larger. I went with my instincts and purchased the size that matches my shoes and just so you know, the Globes fit snug. They were not too tight, but had just enough space at the toe. If you need that extra space to make it feel like shoes, order a size larger… just be forewarned that your Globe shoes would be liable to slip off in the back when you walk because of course these shoes don't have laces! If your shoes are tight to start with... order a size larger! If your shoes fit rather well and you would like your Globes to be snug, order in your shoe size. I hope this helps and happy shopping!

One sick skate shoe -
As mentioned earlier the white shoe is hard to keep clean. Other than that it’s a great shoe and I have got compliments on it. Tried it skating the other day and it seems on par with other skate shoes I've owned. Price is probably a lil too high for what it is but I just noticed Zappos is now knockin the price down so those of you thinkin about it should go for it now.

First off, I have to say that the service I received on Zappos was the best. Not only was it the best, the shoe was in my possession within 3 days. The comfort of the shoe (Globe Fusion) is flawless and the style is awesome!! Whether you're skating or just wearing 'em for the look and feel, this is the shoe that you want. Trust me, I am a soldier in the United States Army and I know something good when I see it.

Not Really Slippers -
I bought these because they were ranked highest in the slipper category by popularity. Unfortunately I don't think these are really slippers. The sole is very heavy and thick. The sides and uppers are rigid. They felt more like casual shoes than easy wearing slippers that I would wear constantly around the house.
